Every sprint includes thirty days of support from store submission. That window exists because the first month is when real users find what testing missed, and you should not be paying extra to fix that.
What it covers
- Defects and crashes
- Behaviour that does not match what was agreed
- Store review issuesIf Apple or Google raise something after submission.
- Questions from you about running the thing
It does not cover new features. Those are a separate piece of work with their own price, agreed before anything starts.
The honest answer on the long term
Published UK maintenance figures run 15 to 25% of build cost annually, and that applies whoever built it. What year two actually costs.
Why you are never stuck with us
You own the source code, the repository, the developer accounts, and the database, from day one rather than on completion. Any competent developer can pick it up.
That is deliberate. A supplier whose leverage is your inability to leave has an incentive we would rather not have.
Common questions
What does the included support cover?
Thirty days from store submission, covering defects, crashes, and behaviour that does not match what was agreed. It is not a window for new features, which are quoted separately.
Do you offer an ongoing retainer?
Not as standard. If you need continuous development for years, an in-house developer costs less than any agency including us, and we would rather say that than sell you a retainer you do not need.
What happens if we need you a year later?
Get in touch. You own the code and the accounts, so picking it back up is straightforward, and so is handing it to somebody else.
