Why the difference between the two
The Starter package covers most first apps: a real product, on both platforms, with accounts, notifications, and an admin dashboard behind it.
The Advanced package exists for builds where the logic itself is the hard part. Marketplaces with two sides and money moving between them. Subscription products with billing states. Anything with meaningful AI features or a security audit requirement.
If you are not sure which you need, take the Starter. We will tell you on the kick-off call if it genuinely needs to be the other one, and the difference gets settled then rather than becoming a surprise later.
How this compares to the UK market
Being straight about this matters more than anything else on the page, because a price this far below the market invites one obvious question.
| Option | Typical UK price | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|
| UK agency, simple app | £12,000 to £30,000 | 10 to 16 weeks |
| UK agency, MVP | £20,000 to £60,000 | 3 to 4 months |
| UK freelancer | £40 to £85 per hour | Varies enormously |
| London agency day rate | £350 to £800+ per day | Ongoing |
| App14 sprint | £2,999 or £5,999 | 14 days |
So what's the catch
There isn't one, but there is a trade, and you should understand it before you buy.
We fix the scope. A £30,000 agency project is open-ended: you can keep adding, and the price and timeline follow. We cannot do that. You get a focused version one and a version-two list.
There is no sales process. No pitch deck, no proposal document, no account manager checking in. That layer is expensive and we removed it. If you want to be courted, we are the wrong supplier.
We say no more often. Games, real-time infrastructure, regulated clinical products, and anything on our no-go list. A generalist agency will take those on. We will not.
What is not included in the price
- Your Apple Developer Program fee and Google Play registration fee, both paid directly by you to the platforms.
- Third-party service costs: SMS credits, mapping usage, payment processing fees.
- Hosting beyond the first month, though for most apps at launch volume this is a small monthly figure.
- Feature development after the thirty-day support window.

Common questions
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. The number you see is what you pay. There is no discovery fee, no change-request billing during the sprint, and no invoice at the end that differs from the one at the start.
Why is this so much cheaper than an agency quote?
Fixed scope, a fixed fourteen-day window, no sales team, and no account management layer. We are not doing the same work for less; we are doing a deliberately smaller, tightly bounded piece of work.
What if I need more than the sprint covers?
Then we tell you before you pay. Some projects genuinely need three months, and we would rather lose the sale than take money for something that will not work.
Can I get a refund?
Full refund, every penny, any time before we start work on your project. No questions asked.
