Our guarantee

A full refund any time before we start work, a fixed price that does not move, and code you own from day one. What each promise actually means.

Three promises. All of them cost us something, which is what makes them worth reading.

A full refund before we start

Every penny back, any time before we begin work on your project. No questions, no admin fee, no deductions.

The window closes at kick-off, and the reason is arithmetic rather than policy. We run a small number of sprints and each one occupies a fixed fortnight. Once yours starts, that fortnight is gone whether or not you continue.

A price that does not move

The number on the pricing page is the number you pay. There is no discovery fee, no change-request billing, and no reconciliation invoice at the end.

Code you own from day one

The repository is in your name before a line is written. So are the developer accounts and the store listings.

This is worth checking with any supplier you talk to, including us. A surprising number of agencies retain ownership and licence the software back, which means the day you want to move on, you cannot. Ask the question directly and get the answer in writing.

What we do not guarantee

Being honest here is more useful than a longer list of promises.

  • We do not guarantee your app will succeed. We can build the thing properly. Whether people want it is a different question, and anyone promising otherwise is selling something.
  • We do not control App Store review. We submit on day twelve to leave room, and Apple's review usually takes a day or two. Occasionally it takes longer, and that is not ours to fix.
  • We do not guarantee we will take your project. If it is on our no-go list, or genuinely needs three months rather than two weeks, we will say no.

Common questions

When can I get a full refund?

Any time before we start work on your project, no questions asked. Once a sprint is under way we have committed the fortnight to you and cannot resell it, so the refund window closes at kick-off.

What if the app is not what I asked for?

You sign off the design before any code is written, so the shape of the thing is agreed early. If the delivered app does not match what was agreed, we fix it. That is not goodwill, it is the deal.

What if you go out of business mid-project?

You own the repository and the accounts from day one, not on completion. Whatever exists at that point is yours, and another developer can pick it up.

Want to talk it through?

Tell us what you're trying to build and we'll tell you honestly whether a 14-day sprint is the right way to do it.

The App14 team · Design and engineering, Appetite Studio

App14 is the 14-day app sprint run by Appetite Studio, a London-registered design and engineering studio. We design, build, and ship production iOS and Android apps in two weeks, at a published fixed price. Everything we write here comes out of work we have actually delivered: the prices are our real prices, the timelines are our real timelines, and the limits are the ones we genuinely hold to.

Our articles are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the App14 team before publication. The prices, timelines, delivery record, and client outcomes described are our own.
