Everything people ask before booking a sprint: timelines, price, ownership, refunds, what we build, what we refuse, and what happens after launch.

About the sprint

Can you really build an app in 14 days?

Yes, and every sprint so far has shipped on time. The secret is scope. We build a focused version 1 that does the core job brilliantly, not a bloated everything-app. Extra features come after launch, when real users tell you what matters.

How much of my time will this take?

About four to six hours across the fortnight: a kick-off call, a design review, a mid-build check, and final sign-off. The design review is the one that cannot slip.

Do I need to know exactly what I want first?

No. You need to know the problem. Working out which single job the app does is what day one is for, and it is the part of the process that most changes the outcome.

What if my project needs more than 14 days?

We will tell you before you pay. Some projects genuinely need three months, and taking your money for a sprint that cannot work would be worse than losing the sale.

The full day-by-day breakdown is on how we work.

About what we build

What kind of apps do you build?

Web and mobile apps, dashboards, marketplaces, booking systems, and internal business tools. Everything is built from scratch for your idea, no templates. The only things we skip are games and heavy real-time systems, because those genuinely need months.

What if I do not like the design?

We revise until you sign off. You review the design before a single line of code is written, so there are no surprises at the end.

Are there any projects you won't build?

Yes. We're Appetite Studio and we build tech for public good, not evil. There's a small list of things we don't touch, no matter the budget.

The list is published in full on who we work with.

About money

Can I get a refund?

Yes. You get a full refund, every penny back, any time before we start work on your project. No risk, no questions asked.

Is the price really fixed?

Yes. There is no discovery fee, no change-request billing during the sprint, and no reconciliation invoice at the end.

What is not included in the price?

Apple and Google developer fees, hosting beyond the first month, third-party service credits such as SMS or mapping, and feature development after the support window.

More detail on pricing and what's included.

About ownership and after launch

Who owns the code?

You do. Full source code, your accounts, your stores. No lock-in, no licence fees. If you ever want to move on, everything comes with you.

What happens after launch?

We handle submission to both the App Store and Play Store, then stay with you for 30 days of free support while your first users arrive. Extended support plans are available if you need more.

Where is our data stored?

In your own cloud account, in a region you choose. UK or EU hosting is the default for UK clients. We hold no copy of your production data after handover.

More on security and data and our guarantee.

Question we haven't answered?

Tell us what you're trying to build and we'll tell you honestly whether a 14-day sprint is the right way to do it.

Free. No commitment. Just a conversation.

The App14 team · Design and engineering, Appetite Studio

App14 is the 14-day app sprint run by Appetite Studio, a London-registered design and engineering studio. We design, build, and ship production iOS and Android apps in two weeks, at a published fixed price. Everything we write here comes out of work we have actually delivered: the prices are our real prices, the timelines are our real timelines, and the limits are the ones we genuinely hold to.

Our articles are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the App14 team before publication. The prices, timelines, delivery record, and client outcomes described are our own.
